Nasrin Sotoude a prominent defense lawyer has been arrested. She has been summoned to the “Tehran’s Security prosecution office” and been arrested on her arrival.
Nasim Ghanavi who is a defense lawyer for Mrs Sotoudeh, told reporters that she received news of Mrs Sotoude’s arrest after she went to “Tehran’s Security prosecution office” on Wednesday 5th September morning. Security forces prevented her from meeting her client and told her she will contact her lawyer later when necessary.
Nasim ghanavi also been denied of witnessing Mrs Sotude’s persecution on Monday despite submission of her power of attorney letter.
