A Number of Students in Esfehan University Banned from Entering the Dormitory

By IHRV | October 6, 2008

A number of student activists in the University of Isfehan were prevented from entering the dormitory.  The students are Alireza Davoodi, Maziar Masoomi, Ali Ejaghi, Arsalan Sadeghi, Behzad Hakimi-Nia, Kaveh Mohammadi and Ebrahim Katfami.  These students, at the start of the new school year, received varying forms of punishment ranging from suspension to summons, issued by the disciplinary committee of the university.

Readers are reminded that the case has been appealed, but the case to review the students’ protests has not commenced for unknown reasons and the students, at the start of new school year, are in a state of uncertainty.
