In Tehran, detainees were transported to various detention centers located in Hur Square, the Security Police center and sections 240 and 290 in Evin Prison.  After the initial investigation, detainees were sent to Evin Prison in large groups to go through additional bureaucratic and legal proceedings.

This morning, after the start of a fire in Evin Prison, the quarantine section of the prison had to be evacuated immediately and most of the prisoners in this section were transferred to reformatory in section 7 of the prison.  About 205 demonstration detainees, were included in this group.
