Student Newsletter Bidari Banned in Shiraz University

The student newsletter Bidari, managed by Nastaran Rafiei, was forced to shut down by the cultural deputy in Shiraz University.  The publication managed to publish 11 issues before its closure.
 
Doctor Abasi, cultural deputy in the university, said the newsletter was ordered shut for inciting public opinion, encouraging students to commit illegal acts, and publication of articles devoid of truth.  A meeting will be held next week to review the charges against the newsletter.
