Political prisoner Hasan Asadi, Human Rights chairman of Daftar Tahkim (Office of Strengthening Unity), who is incarcerated in section 240 inside Evin Prison, is under constant pressure by his interrogators.
Mr. Asadi has been kept in solitary confinement in section 240 since his arrest. Mr. Asadi has been placed under difficult conditions, and he is continuously and extensively subjected to long hours of interrogation that are conducted by the Ministry of Intelligence.
After many follow-ups by Mr. Asadi’s family members, they managed to have a brief visit with him. During the visit, Mr. Asadi spoke about his difficult time in solitary confinement and complained about the many pressures that he has been exposed to.
The report added that Mr. Asadi was detained in his residence on November 3 at 20:30 by three agents from the Ministry of Intelligence, and was taken to a solitary cell inside Evin Prison. While he was being detained the agents videotaped the entire proceeding.
