Widespread Summoning of Student Activists in Ahvaz before Student Day

On the eve of Student Day, a large group of activist students from Chamran University and Ahvaz Medical School have been summoned to appear before the Ministry of Intelligence office in Khozestan province and the university’s security office.
During the students’ appearances the use of threats and fear tactics were employed to dissuade students from continuing their activities inside the universities in the city of Ahvaz.
The identities of those summoned before the Ministry of Intelligence are as follows:
• Hosseini, chairman of Ahvas Islamic Society
• Jaafarian, political chairman of Islamic Society in the city of Hamedan
• Ghalavand, member of Ahvas Islamic Society
