Babak Ghiasi, Student of School of Agriculture in Razi University in Kermanshah, Detained

Babak Ghiasi, a student studying in the school of Agriculture in Razi University in the city of Kermanshah, was kidnapped by unidentified individuals on Tuesday, December 1.

Mr. Ghiasi is among a number of students who were banned from entering the university proper by an order issued by the school’s disciplinary committee.  The sentencing expired on November 28.

In the morning hours of December 1, while Mr. Ghiasi was planning to attend a awards  ceremony for outstanding students, he was kidnapped by unknown individuals, who are speculated to be members of Sepah (Revolutionary Guard).
