Zahra Rahnavard Attacked for the Third Time

Unknown individuals dressed in civilian clothing attacked Zahra Rahnavard for the third time in the School of Art. On December12, for the third time in a row, unknown individuals dressed in civilian clothing began harassing doctor Zahra Rahnavard in the school of Fine Arts. Ms. Rahnavard is the wife of Mr. Mir-Hossein Mousavi, a presidential candidate during last June’s disputed election.
During National Student Day, Dr. Rahnavard was subjected to attacks by a number of women who identified themselves as members of the Basiji militia.
Dr. Rahnavard is a professor in the school of Fine Arts in Tehran University, and the attacks took place inside Tehran University.
