Detention of A Student for Internet-Related Activities

Sadegh Hosseini, a student in the School of Technology affiliated with Tehran University, was detained in his residence last week. During Mr. Hosseini’s arrest, Intelligence agents said the reason for his arrest was connected to his internet-related activities.
At the present time there are 16 students from this school in prison who have mostly been detained during rallies that were held on December 7 and Ashura Day.
