On Tuesday, April 20, a court in the province of Khozestan announced the hanging of an individual only identified as Rahman R., who had been convicted of intentionally causing injury, ultimately leading to the death of a man identified as Davar T. The execution was carried out in Dezful Prison.
The report also added that the execution of another man, Mohammad-Reza D., has been suspended for one week by a request made by the victim’s family members.
A court in Khozestan also issued a statement in which it said a man identified as Reza S. was publicly lashed in the area of Homafaran in Masjed Solaiman for committing an indecent act on April 20. The report did not make any mention of the number of lashes delivered.
