Killing of an Inmate inside Sari Prison

An ordinary prisoner held in Sari Prison was killed by a guards and another prisoner.
The slain prisoner, Hadi Aravand, had been sentenced to death, and the killing took place during a confrontation with a prison guard identified as Mohammadi and another inmate identified as Nasiri. Mr. Nasiri has a pending death sentencing as well.
Mr. Aravand’s family members have pleaded with the authorities, however they have not been provided any clear responses.
Mr. Aravand received a death sentencing for a murder he committed on March 19, 2008, and he was killed on Monday, May 4, 2010.
